What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? I live in Colorado and getting married in a couple days. Was woondering after married is my spouse entitled to half of my eastate?

It depends on the context. If you were to pass away your wife would be entitled to a percentage of your estate based on whatever percentage your state law allows. Half is fairly common.

If you were to divorce, your wife would be entitled to half of the amount of the assets that accrued during your marriage. She would not be entitled to any portion that accrued prior to the marraige.
