Going after child support.

What is the name of your state? Illinois.
I have moved out of the county where child support had been ordered. The father of my child has been ordered to pay child support for my 5 year old, however I have not recieved one dime from him. Every time I go to court to force him to pay, he quits his job. I have sence moved 3 hours away into another county and would like to pursue child support with a local lawyer. Will I have to go back to the county where the child support was ordered or can I go to my county courthouse where I live?
The court system where I am from has been very ineffective and I would like to recieve a better chance in getting child support as well as back child support.

"rhos87"

Do not do that. It just confuses people and makes both posters, rhos87 and you, seem insincere. Get your own USER ID and then cut and paste and then re-post. This same applies to all posts you have going now. If you have more than one you can just make the statement to any ongoing thread that you were "rhos87" but you borrowed the identity.

If he is still in the county that orginated the support order, you cannot have it moved.
