florida; our grandchild ran-away from parents'. she is 16 will be 17 in jan. she refuses to live with her father anymore as he thrented her several times, that she wouldnot wake up next morrning, he put a screwdriver to her temple & said "how would you like me to shove this thru the other side. she was doing homework, he was rageing mad from work as usual. he has exterminly bad temper. he calls her & her 14 yr. old sister horriable names,(i don't think i should use on here the names) she is terrified of him & for her life & her sisters life. her mother always turns her head the other way. we (grandparents her mother's parents) was advised to get an injuction on her father. they gave us temporay custody of the girls for one week.they told us we should call casa,& hrs. that they would be a big help. they were help alright for the parents. they lied to judge & "didnot" write down what the girls acctually told them.they lied to us & said the girls could be put in a pertective shelter, they "didnot" check with the schools for wittness like we & the girls told them. we went to court second time the judge "wouldnot" listen or talk to the girls like she said she would. she wouldnot take no wittness at all.she just signed for the girls to go back to their parents. the judge knew their father is a drug user, grows & sells marawana, has vailonet temper ect. the girls ran-away from the courthouse. the 14 yr. old is back with parents we took her back when she came to our house. the 16 yr. old wants & is serious about emancipation. their is a dective been saying he is going to arrest us (grandparents, aunt & uncle, (mother's sister & husband) the 16 yr. olds friends & parents starting on the 3 of may,2001. the girls attonery is the one who told the girls, & helped them get out of courthouse. she said,"your in hideing now" & told'em when to leave. we have (grandparents) have tryed several times to get ahold of this attonery, she keeps avoiding us & "will not return our calls". the detective said the 16 yr. old could emancipate her parents it would coast $147.00. he told us she could come & live with us also, but then he said, she had several options available to her. then he told her mother when he gets her he will put her on a plane & send her to IL to her parents. they moved to IL please advse us as to what options she (the 16 yr. old has) & if we can be arrested for something we didnot do, & they think we are hideing her & were not. & "can we be given in writeing legal papers for her to come here to live, without her parents' signing, & can the detective/hrs give this to us or how can we get it & how can we get an attonery to make these paers or what do we do, the 16 yr. old says she will come home to us when we have this or the emancipation in our hands, she calls us, she can have her job back we already know this" she just wants her job back, go back to school, & live with grandparents' she is a very well behaved girl never a problem she is just terrified of her father. i applogise for the lenth of this but i donot know how to cut it down, i still left some out. thank you so much for your time.
