What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Illinois

My wife and I have a 16 year old daughter who is disrespectful and she feels that if she did not live with us, she wold be better off. She asked us if she could move out and we have told her that we cannot allow that because since she is a minor, we are responsible for her until she is 18. She keeps telling us that we can sign over guardianship of her to one of her friends' parents. How is this done and what costs would be involved.

Thanks in advance for your help!
