Guardianship (Older Brother)

What is the name of your state?Baltimore, Maryland, I need advice on how to go about getting guardianship over my Brother, He is 80 years old and living in assistance care home. He can not handle his affairs and he asked me and my other Brother and Sister to be his guardian and handle his affairs. I know that it would be a lawyer involved but I need to know to what to do and how to get started.
