What is the name of your state? Washington

My parents currently reside in Taiwan, while my 18 year old sister and I are in Seattle for school. I am a Washington resident and I wonder if the guardianship for my sister could be transferred form my parents to me, making my sister a Washington resident as well. Thank you very much.

Why do you think that an 18 year old person needs a guardian?

In some states the age of majority is 21. Back when i was 21 and my first husband was 20, we moved to MS, and the age of majority was 21 and I had to sign contracts for him as he was considered incompetent to sign for himself. hehe

maybe that is the case here?
