Help????

What is the name of your state? Georgia

My friend just had a restraining order filed against him by his wife.
She went and said she was fearing for her life.
The facts are that my friend has just filed for divorce after having to deal for the past 6 years with her mental problem.
She and her mother (that manipulate her) retaliate because of this and the fact that their 16 year old son wants to live with his father.
There's never been any violence in the marriage and no police report.
Now my friend can't go back to is home, has to pay her 2000 $ a month and he is not allowed to see or talk to his son under any circumtances. If he does not obey he can go in jail without bond.

Is there a way to fight that what are is chances knowing that his wife and her mother are up to the worst. What if they lye again and say he violated the court order.
What are his options and rights is their any chance that the judge over-turn his judgement.

Thank for your help
