Help!!!!

VIRGINIA
I've been living with a woman for approximately 14 years. Now things are changing and it's time to move on, we have been in a apartment and have not purchased anything jointly. What will I be held to legally?

You need to be more specific. Are both of your names on the lease? Does VA recognize common law? Have you entered into a common law marriage in accordance to the laws of VA? Do you have kids with her?
