Help ex wants ring back and my furniture

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? TN
I was issued a writ of possession from my ex that cancelled our wedding 4 days before the date.
He is wanting my engagement ring back and everything in my house.
I have proof where he resided here for a year, I paid for everything. He paid for the ring and some flowers.
How strong of an attorney do I need for this?
He has one. I cant believe he is doing this but I did find that he was seeing someone that he is with now and about to buy a house.
His excuse for moving from here was that he could not afford to help with bills.
Now his dad is helping him with a house and to try to take stuff from my house that we acquired together and that he stated that he did not want when he walked out the door.
I have 3 people to testify including his ex wife and have several emails from him whil ehe was at work when we first met that stated love you, sugar momma at the end of the paragraph. Why didnt I see it then..ughh
He has also changed the code on our storage and I cannot access my payroll books or family heirlooms.
What do I do? He owes me and he broke me money if anything like lots...plus you cant put a price on a broken heart.
Anyone know what chances I have to win this?
Sincerely,
Jen

Hire an attorney. Change the locks on your house so that he cannot get in. Call a locksmith to open the lock on the storage unit and get all of your stuff out of it. (assuming that both of your names are on the storage contract).

I'm so sorry

I, too have almost the SAME situation. I have no legal advice but wanted to, from one female to another, give you a hug and tell you to keep strong. I'm so sorry they do this to such giving women. I hope we both get to keep our rings AND get money back for all we paid on their behalf.
