Help finding a low cost Prenup attoney in N.H.?

What is the name of your state? New Hampshire...

Hello, I'm looking to get a prenuptial agreement...I've called several local lawyers and get quotes over $2K... I understand that you can do them for free by just following a basic form...If it really costs $2K, I'm forced to find a sample form and just sign it since I will not come up with the money in time...(rings and weddings are expensive enough )

Anyone know where I can I find a low cost lawyer directory? (I'm sick calling an attoney, waiting on hold for 20mins only to find out they want more money then I have) Or is there anything available online that would hold more weight than a form we filled out?

Why do you need a prenup? If you haven't got enough to pay a lawyer to draw it up, you likely don't have enough for it to make a difference. Ya know?

Well the having no money at this time is because of the wedding... It will be draining our bank accounts...After the wedding we're going to have a little bit of money for an emergency fund, but things will be very tight for the following six monthes...After several monthes, things will be adequet and we will go back to banking our money...

The purpose of a prenup is to protect the assets you had going into the marriage. If you're broke now but will be saving the money you both earn in the future, the money will belong to both of you and there's nothing to protect.

Geez, I was way off on that...I know you're saying a prenup will not protect future earnings, but is there anything that will protect it?

Edit...I guess that's what a postnup is, right?

It's called marital property, dude. If your intention is to make sure you each keep your own stuff and not create a life together, I'd suggest you just shack up. Much easier and less expensive.
