Help Please


What is the name of your state? Ky
Question? I've just broken off when my future husband,He has threaten to take back all the things he has bought me,Says he has a receipt for everthing.I didn't ask him to buy these things,But.. can he buy Law take them?Thank you so kindly

What kind of things are you talking about?? Thong undies? Or a Big Screen T.V.....Did you live together?

Help Please


no we never lived together,he had bought me a new TV,computer,and sound equipment,He gave them to me as gifts..I try to repay him,but he said they were gifts..so i never thought any more about them..till the break up...and now he says he has receipts and is going to take it all...can he do this legally?thanks

Nope, he gave you gifts. Had you been living together it might have been questionable, but you are not, so they are clearly gifts.

Help Please


1. There was never a legal binding document signed or stated.
2. The equipment and TV was a gift
3. The offer to repay for the entertainment center still stands
4. The gifts have been in my possession for (PC)2 years (Ent Center and desk (2 yrs)
sound equipment-7 moths
5. TV- 7 Months....
I never ask for any of these things,but did accepted them as gifts,But he says he has receipts and is coming and taking all the above.can he do this?

No he cannot. Do not allow him to enter your home. If he has a key, get the locks changed immediately.
