Home Mortgage

What is the name of your state?Kansas
If my name is the only name on the mortgage, but I want my boyfriend's name on the title of my house, what happens if we would go our separate ways? would he be entitled to 1/2 of the equity in the home?

Yup, he'd become an owner. If you wnat to protect him in the event of your death, why not just WILL the property to him? That way, if you split, you have the house.
