Question

How can I Leave the State and keep custody of our child?

What is the name of your state? CA

I am thinking about divorcing my husband. I can't afford to live in California on my own. My mother lives in Arizona. I would be able to afford to live on my own there and would still have the support of a family member. My husband has made it clear that if i moved he would either sue for custody or stop me from moving out of state. Is there a way I could file for divorce and leave the state with our child? What is the name of your state?

When did you have a sex change operation?

In fact, you are so astonishingly correct in this matter, it will not surprise us one bit if you are offered a generous settlement, because, by golly, that’s just how it should be.

talk to a lawyer before you move

He cant stop you from moving, but he can certainly stop the child from moving-its his child too. Your child is a legal resident of california, and that state would have jurisdiction. Dad has the right to refuse to allow his child to move. consult with an attorney

Maybe they're one of those pathetic couples who thinks that because they're married they are no longer 2 individuals and therefore have to share the same user name!!!
