What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? florida
i moved from atlanta to florida to be with my girlfriend.. Fast forward after 7months it didn't work I was preparing to move out sept 24th and as time got closer she became enraged with the thought of me leaving if I would (pretend) things were ok there would be no drama. Well she decided I am going to hurt you...called the police to say I beat her up...(untrue) no arrest made officer suggest I leave for the day to protect myself...well I callled her that weekend to come get some clothes..she had hidden my keys to the house prior to me leaving... I went with police escorts and she never answered the door went to family court the judge ordered her to let me get my things (she was granted and injuntcion after she presented the court with telephone records of me calling apx 500 times she said it was harrassement and i said it was because she never answers door and i want to move out) she is an attorney and would tell the judge she didnt recall not being at home and other courtroom jargon......I would go weekly @ different times with law enforcement and she had not answered door...I knew she was in cuz I heard our dog come to the door and he is in cage if no one is home....i file a motion to see the jduge again.. judge ordered her a time and date for me to get my belongings...I show up with police escort...she is on porch with her friend laughing saying good luck with the move and allows me in i walk in and (nothing of mine is there) the room that had my items in was empty... where art hung only hooks...and things I did find a few items and of course she stated were hers and told the officer she is contesting anything i touch and nothing will be removed out of her home..the officer stated to me unfortunatly she is correct and told me i could take a photo of these items...she protested the officer told her to back off and i did....after 32(my age) years of living I do not have reciepts of all my belongings...I do have photos that date and show me with my items...I also have youtube videos of me which show my items....I took photos of those items while she was saying they belonged to her...but my photos and videos show different...she has all my recipts they were in my draweres that are missing now....its like she moved my stuff out knowing what date I was coming...baby items, items of my deceased family and friends....how can this be legal...I was advised to leave for my protection for the night sept 9th and for 3months I had been trying to move out..only to be heartbroken the day I was granted by the judge for my things to be gone!!!!! No recipts no anything, I've tried to get old bank statements only show store and how much spent but not itemized items...its november..I'm absolutely sick knowing she has items that belong to my deceased loved ones...items I cherished and everything I own....am I doomed or do I have a chance? do i need to file a police report..i feel like she is using this judicial system to her advantage im not sure where to turn.
