Husband trying to take equity out of house without me.

What is the name of your state? Florida

I hope I am in the right location to post this. I am not sure if I should be in real estate or Domestic..Anyway, here goes.

My husband is planning on leaving me. We got married in 2002. I had a property at that time in just my name. He went to jail, I sold my property to get him a good lawyer because I know we had the other house. The 2nd house "The marital property" was bought in just his name, even though it was bought after our marriage, my name is not on the deed or the loan. Now he is planning on taking out all of the equity and leave me to pay the bills. Is there anything I can do to stop him from taking out the equity or from selling the house without me. According to Fl law I have interest in the property. We have a newborn and he has a son. I was thinking of filing a lien but I am not sure how to do that or if there was another way. Please help!!! I am desperate. What is the name of your state?

File for divorce and request a restraining order prohibiting the sell of any assets or obtaining any more debt...

Nothing stated by me should be taken as giving you legal advice or forming an attorney/client relationship. The devil is in the details after all.

You are going to need a fast consult with a local attorney. They honestly will be a better source for answers.
