What is the name of your state? maryland
I have a question when i get married and change my name i know that my 40,000.00 debt will follow me but when i change my name won't i be able to do simple things like open a bank accout or cd account
I ask because i have 3 judgements against but they will be in my maiden name

thanks | Yes, you will be able to open bank accounts and cd accounts.
The creditors may come after the dough you put there.
