My husband filed contempt charges against his ex for violating our court order for visitation over 20xs (everything was documented) a lot of good that did the judge didnt even want to see the paper. we did not have an attorney, we really didnt think we needed one and couldnt afford one at the time. The ex said that the child didnt want to go (which is a lie) and the judge asked my husband "How can I find her in contempt when the child didnt want to go?" my husband told the judge that she was lying but the judge didnt want to hear anything. It was like he was in a rush to go home. Now my problem is ever since that day in court 3 months ago, we have not been able to get in touch with the mother or child. the phone# is the same but he keeps getting an answering machine. He leaves messages but they never call back.what do you suggest we do about this and is the judges response to violating court orders a common one. we live in PA. thanks
