Just Curious

What is the name of your state? PA
I have been married for 3 yrs to a wonderful man. He was previously married and has 2 children - 30 & 15 from a previous marriage. I have one child with him. I signed a prenuptial agreement because of the different levels we were in our lives. He is a successful businesman and I am young and still starting out. We are still leaving in the house he lived in before. He loves this house and is reluctant to let go of it and I have no problem with staying here and redoing everything. My concern is, the house is still in his name, including all the vehicles we purchased since we have been married. I want to make sure that if anything is ever to happen to him death or even divorce I am adequately taken care of. Does the house automatically come to me in the event of a death or he can name his kids as beneficiaries. If we jointly owned this house ie. the title was both in our names will I have to worry about this? Thanks

Of course we have no idea what was agreed in the prenup.

MY husband has grown kids. Why not do what I did? Buy several life insurance policies on him that you own, so that you and your kid have plenty of your own assets if hubby dies - no matter who gets what from his estate??
