What is the name of your state? ny

i have a question for you ... if a person can be tried for a war crime several years later why cant a parent be tried for abuse years later ? this man beat on me until i was 18 and i ran away then he turned his focus to my youngest brother until he left now its my middle brother only they cant beat him so they keep his money when its suits them such as when hes to lazy to work they rely on his ssi check and for my youngest brother and i its all verbal and mental abuse now... i think he should have to pay for all the beating in the head he gave me with a wooden spoon trying to teach me spelling and for making me stand in hot water in the tube because i ran it to hot for my brothers when i was five years old and numurouse other things that i dont want to get into why is it ok that he doe's these things but as soon as i call him to help my brother he has me arrested ... is there anything cases out there that involve my kind of situation ? he is a ex marine way out of control. my proof of all of this is my family and court documents of when my mother tried to get custody of the three of use when they were divorsed see my father had custody of us in california but my mom got us for the summer so she was aloud to bring us to ny to visit my family she saw all the brusies on my body and she was present during a few of the beatings i recived even after they remarried my father has admitted to my grandmother and so has my mother so if we put her on the stand i dont think she will lie knowing that she would get in trouble. plus both of my brothers wont lie for him please if you have anything to share on this matter please im me at pot1686 on yahoo instant messenger or at steveyb12475 on aol instant messanger ill be online thank you i would like to be able to explain a liitle more to you incase you have any questions or comments

It all depends on what the statute of limitations is in NYS, and what proof you have that he did what you say (apart from your saying so - cause he'll say he didn't).
