Las Vegas mariage license, is it considered legal in all state?

What is the name of your state? Arizona.
My father marries new wife in Las Vegas days before he was murdered.
No convictions, but the new wife is still the prime suspect.
He leaves no Will behind, new wife gets all of his estates/life insurance.
My niece gets married in Las Vegas last week, but was advised not all states consider Las Vegas marriage license legal.
My question: "Was the marriage between my father and his new wife a legal bondage"?
How or who can we contact to address this issue?
All commnets and suggestions are very welcomed.
Mark.

The marriage is legal. However, your stepmother, absent a will, DOES NOT automatically receive everything. I would stongly suggest you stop taking advice from 'some people' and immediately hire a probate attorney to file in the state of Nevada.

Or whatever state your father resided in.

It's Vegas baby.

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.

Thumbs up

Thanks for your reply. The estate has been settled. I was just wondering "if" the Vegas license was considered legal in Arizona. This is a 'kool' site!
