Leave state with child

YOUR STATE NAME - louisiana

i have a spouse, stepchild and bio child. stepchild is danger to bio child. what happens if I don't file for divorce, but just leave the state with my child. can spouse force us back or recover my child.

both, just file for divorce. Get TPO if needed.

What is a TPO? Problem with filing for divorce is in this state the wife usually ends up with the child regardless of the situation.

I believe that TPO is an Temporary Protective Order. In my state (California) I had to file an Emergency Protective Order. Hope that helps. I don't know what it is called in your state. Godspeed.

Why is it necessary to leave the state to simply remove the child from the home?
