legal age ot move out

What is the name of your state? california

i was wondering what was the age a minor could move out without a parent consen t..i have heard it was 15 1/2 or 16..if you have a job..show you go to school.. a place to stay...the person you live with can support you..is this true or am false...because i am 16 and have a place to stay...i would get a job..if this is true...and etc...i want to move in with my bf and his family...i don tknow much about this but i have read the other articles...is what im saying emancipation?....if any one has answer please respond
