Legal Guardian of my brotherWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? FLORIDA Hi, I need to become legal guardian of my 16 year old brother. | I am 25. And yes my parents agree with this. They are coming this summer so we can take care of this. we are happy family but my brother is young and he is going to live with me and I need to be able to make legal decisions on his behalf. |

| If your parents are in agreement its really quite simple. I would recommend having an attorney draw up the paperwork and submit it to the courts. If you use an attorney, its unlikely that you will even have to appear in court and it should not be too expensive if everyone is in agreement.
