Legal Liabilities of 17 yr. old who has moved out

from colorado: my 17 yr. old son dropped out of school and refused to get a job. i had been providing him a car that he was to pay the insurance on. he did not so i took the car, he moved out. now he is purchasing a car on his own, still no job is borrowing money from friends. if he has an accident and has no insurance am i liable?
