Today, I found out that my daughter's mom left our 6 year old at home alone for hours with her 11 year old son (from her first marriage) to watch her. The 11 year old is a nice boy but I don't think he is capacle of handling an emergency situation should one arise.

My Question: What is the minimum legal age that someone has to be to babysit a child in the state of Florida.
