Legal or not legal that is the question!

What is the name of your state? Florida
Evidently this must be "new" situation to most of you. I did not get any response when asked the first time. I hope SOMEONE has an answer! My daughter has been married to an "undocumented" (illegal alien) from Mexico for the past 2 years. When they got married he produced fake documentation (an I.D. of some sort with a fake social security number). Is this marriage considered legal? What steps would my daughter have to go through to get this marriage off the records if it is not legal?

Yes the marriage is legal and your daughter would need to get a divorce.

Marriage is legal between two consenting unmarried adults, regardless of their nationality. It's getting a little iffy if it has to be one male and one female--depends if you live in Mass. or not.

Did you daughter know her fiance was undocumented before the wedding?
