Legal Permission

i have 3 vehicles, 1 titled in both my wife and i names, 2 in only my name. i do not want my 20 year old step-son driving the cars due to his lack of respect for my property. my wife tells him he can drive the cars and he does. can he legally drive my cars without my permission ? if he's in an accident am i liable ?

He's 20, tell him to get a job and buy his own dang car. Your wife is allowing his irresponsibility.
You can make a deal with him, he can drive the car if he goes in the military. That'll teach him some responsibility.

Otherwise, is he on the insurance? If not, and he's in an accident, you pay. I'd put him on and make him pay the amount that the insurance goes up. Otherwise, no insurance - no car keys.

I have four teenagers. One 16 1.2 year old. He doesn't drive yet cuz he doesn't have a job to pay for the insurance.
