Likelihood of obtaining visa?

I just spent 3 months in the US with my fiance before returning to the UK. We would like to apply for a fiance visa asap but will need to use his mother as a co-sponsor as he is in college and not earning the minimum requirement. I was wondering what the chances are of getting a visa using a co-sponsor.

Also, how would I enter the US while the fiance visa is filing? I want to get back there asap as being apart is very difficult for both of us, I just need some help as im feeling alone in all this.
