Question

Love vs Debt

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Missouri

I was in a dating relationship with a man (2 years), we recently bought a house and property together- however, after making this purchase - which I am a co-signer on I find out this man is extremely in debt.... Am I responsible for his debt other than the house/property I co-signed for? He has a checking account and I am a signer.... I have a checking account and he is a signer... Please help... Thank you!
