marriage / financesI am in Texas. I am recently engaged. I had bad credit and filed for bankruptcy. Am building my credit back little by little. How do I get married and not have my credit rating effect my spouse's? He has sterling credit that we will need in the future to purchase home etc, please advise. thanks |

| You are lucky ... for one, you live in Texas, where Common-Law marriages still exist. I recommed you get one of those - no paperwork involved (no marriage license or certificate) - therefore, your credit should not effect your husband to be's ... |
