Maryland law. If a couple lives together for a period of time, are they by law married, and if so, what is that time, 1 year, 2 years, 3 years, etc?

If you are asking if living together would make a common law marriage in MD...No. MD doesn't have common law marriage and even if it did, just living together wouldn't qualify as such.

No. They could live together for 100 years and it would not make them legally married. Not in MD and not in most, if not all, other states. Even states that recognize common law marriage (and MD does not) require more than just living together.
