Marriage License Issue...

What is the name of your state? PA

I also posted this thread under "Divorces"...

I am divorced over a year and a half now, but my current fiance thinks I've never been married.... we are going to apply for a marriage license and I am afraid if I put that I've never been married that they will find out... do they do any kind of background check when you apply for a marriage license?? I mean, I am divorced so it's not a bigamy issue, I just don't want to tell him since we've been together for so long and he might feel like it's a big issue... Also, in my first marriage I never changed my maiden name... so what will happen if i just put on the application that this is my first marriage?
