marriage licenses / Records

What is the name of your state? Ca.

If an American is married in a foreign Country (CHINA) is a copy of marriage license on file somewhere in the U.S.? If so where would I find it? If not how do I confirm the marriage legally took place?

If You're Married in a foreign Country (CHINA) and someone needed proof of the marriage how should they go about getting a copy of the record?

Is there a data base all marriages are input into nationally. Or does the American have to Register w/ the state of there residence upon returning and records are kept only within that state?

Also the American is trying to get the Spouse legal entrance into U.S. how does that play into the laws of the U.S. Is it easy to gain entrance if you're married to an American Citizen?

Do they backgroud check this type of immigration exstensively on both parties? Is it a long Process to bring the foreigner acrossto America, if something is amis, and the outcome turns out to be a citizenship for a fee deal. What are the Penalties for a 1st offender, and if the Citizen is a Mother dealing w/ a custody case. Would something like this help the father gain some ground in the bias for the mother , poor-house for the father /family Court System. Or even give the father the advantage to retain full custody?

(note)
Toddler age Child, Devoted Father & Provider, Young Mother getting aid to support herself, On top of support Payments of $200 bi-weekly and heaLth coverage paid for out of pocket to cover child by the father due to being laid off.

So Can any of this help him in the Ca. System if it all proves true w/ paper wk. supporting the all allegations Presented to the court.

Thanks, My friend is a Vry Devoted Father and just doesn't feel confident she'd be fair at the end of it all if they don't wk out and stay together.
I am sorry but I can't understand a bit of that. Please try explaining again, and be less cryptic about who is doing what.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who had trouble deciphering that.

I would think, for one thing, that the spouse in the other country would be the one to work on obtaining proof of marriage.
