Marriage questionWhat is the name of your state? New Jersey I heard somewhere a girl is considered an adult if she's pregnant. New jersey marriage can only be if two people are 18, but say i'm 18 and the girl is 16, if she is pregnant and considered an adult, would we be able to get married if she was pregnant? and if we did, would it still we still be considered legally married after the child is born? |

| No, being a mom or dad does not make a child an adult. The minor's parents would need to consent to the marriage before it could take place. http://marriage.about.com/cs/marriagelicenses/p/newjersey.htm
