What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas

We purchased a marriage license last Oct. was married a few days later. The license were lost and never filled. So are we legally married or not?What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

Well, since Texas does recognize common law marriage, I would think that yes, you are considered to be married. I would presume you did hold yourselves out as being married, yes?

As to the formal marriage, probably not since it was not registered.
