Medication, and Mail fraud.

I live with my parents, I am 21 and I am a college student. my current prescription provider sends my prescriptions through the mail and my parents open them and confiscate them and dole them out as they see fit. I know both them opening the mail and taking the medicine is illegal but being an information junkie and a intelligent human being. I am search for the exact laws that they have broken and penalties.

Cant you just move out of your parent's home? If you found out the exact laws they may have broken, will you be ready and willing to go ahead and persue the charges against your parents?

Seems to me that moving out may just be easier.
Im not judging you im just weighing out your options, and trying to think of what I would do if it were me in your situation.

Unfortunately, mail is usually considered to have been properly delivered when it's delivered to the street address on the package, regardless of whose name is on it.

I am assuming that your parents are sending you your drugs, but not all at once, and they aren't withholding needed medication. If that's the case, the best you can do is just have the prescriptions sent elsewhere if possible.

Of course, if they're giving the drugs away to other people, or keeping you from taking your drugs when needed, that's a different kettle of fish.

I agree. Forwarding your mail to a "mailboxes, etc" type place near school or home may be the cheapest solution.

Well, I got my pain killers today.. 540 of them.. my dad tried to keep them so I couldnt eat them all.. but i got out my baseball bat and demanded my **** back.. he caved saying "If you OD its your problem.".

Well, now I am in a heaven bliss where everything is alright and I have no worries. Just happy, i think my butabital should be coming tonight or tomorrow. I have some codeine on the way too. So I should be pretty pilled out.. aint it great.. plus i have an appointment with the shrink. I am gonna do a song and dance and hopefully score some xanax or klinopin, maybe some sonata and adderall too. ^_^ well much love people.

In all truth I am probably heroin but that was not available on the quiz. I am not a big fan of uppers unless its a speed ball.

You can sometimes find me at a Club or Raves.. but I have slowed down since my youth. I believe your rights begin with a life form equal or greater than yourself ends.

What I Don't Do: Religion, Faith, Ignorance, Telling other people what to think, following leadership, believe anyone has the answer, believe in an answer, care, hate, trust, believe in any rights you dont earn.

well that somewhat sums me up.. i am pretty laid back in appearance though I am a storm on the inside.. I say 'man' after about everything.. i dont care much about appearance, making other people feel bad, other people opinions, other people in general. In all truth I take nothing seriously.. i am a very non-serious person.. i like to grin especially at my own sarcastic undertones.

But now that I look back just about every friend I have had is older than me with the exception of melanie but she is a new friend. Tuesday I woke up, that was about it.

I scored like 15 grams of coke. I am in heaven... trying to get rid of it. I sent the day with Darrell we where looking for a gun but, I ended up buying a CD player for darrells car, cause he was stole. I bought two knives.. very nice.. bought my dad a notre dame hat, bought my mom a switch blade pen, bought matt( forgot ), bought brit a book about dragons. Bought me a few other books, good to see darrel.

Man, 5 Days in a row over 5 grams of DXM. I am in outerspace. But alteast I am in good company. People @ dextroverse.org are cool as ****. Well, its been a long hard year. Lets recap, car wreck(broken rib and half my face cleaved off), broken foot, getting busted by my parents, getting hauled to the hospital on a suicide attempt(which i didnt even try). But I did graduate and walk out of all classes this year with a 4.0 w00t! I have fewer friends now... actually I have no friends right now. Oh well atleast I am ****ed up. ^_^

Well, I went to texarkana to Books-A-Million and got the last book in the Star Wars: New Jedi Order book. I also got How to be a teen millionare and a magazine. Oh I also ordered Dopefiend it will be here soon. I went to walmart and bought a fish tank and some fish(I needed some company). I also grabbed some robogels.

I had a nice talk with my dad on the biblical rules and drugs. He was very open-minded and helpful, such a cool ****ing dad. I was going to get some salvia but I ran out of $$cash$$.

I finally got a Livejournal Account. I needed a place to display my thoughts. Well my christmas was alright. I got a DVD Burner, 50$ Book-A-Million Gift Card, Robot Building Kit, and some pajama pants.
I got hold of the Mindless Self Indulgence: Despierta Los Ninos tour CD. Well it rocks, especially enjoy the first song named Wack!.

I dont know who your calling an idiot, because my lifestyle isnt the same as yours. Well, atleast I dont have to act like an alphamale ******* to make myself feel better about being a nobody hiding behind a monitor. Second I have never OD in my 4 years of hard drug usage.

Second, sorry for not living up to the drug user stereotype, of mugging old ladies and failing school. I have never hurt anyone or stole anything. Unlike you who has to put people down to make himself feel better. Atleast I am not lying to myself with a fake drug like ego. Second I am a college student, I have a 3.81GPA. I am a Magna Cum Laude, and I am on the Dean's list.

I dont just sit in my room and play video games. I read three books a week. I am a published author, I also have sold some of my paintings for upto 2000$. I also program in C++, Visual Basic, PHP, ASP, Cold Fusion, HTML, and JavaScript. I also have a 160 IQ, 34 on the ACT, and a 1300 on the SAT.

Now isnt this ironic, you are a geek/nerd in real life. Alphamale jocks probably use you as a punching bag or did. Then you get on the net and try to act like an alphamale ******* instead of rising above that subhuman standard. I do nothing except benefit mankind with my knowledge.
