What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? PA

For reference purposes.

That poster is one crazy woman. How funny that she would want to change her child's last name to her current married name when that name had nothing to do with the child's parentage. If she really wants to change his last name she should just change it to "Step-dad number 1 is _____" - dad's last name. Then, after mom divorces her current husband and remarries again, she can get child's name changed to "Step-dad number 2 is ______" - dad's last name. That way the world will know the confused reasoning behind the child's last name and how messed up his mother's priorities are.
