minor kids and automobiles


What is the name of your state? wisconsin

i was wondering if anyone here can give me an age that a child can go out and start a car for their father while he is sleeping so its warmed up for him? is it age 8 or 10?

haha. well..... no actually i'm not kidding. don't think i'm doing it. i just found out that my wifes kids are and have been starting their dads car for him. then after thats done they are supposed to wake him up and then their sister is to feed herself and her brothers

ya know i truely wished.. for him anyways not the kids. no actually they live in a nice 2 bedroom apartment that we all get to pay for from his welfare checks. i am serious though i need something to go back to court with. please help.

Quickest way to get an answer is to call the DMV and ask them if it's illegal for an unlicensed/underage person to start a car. Not drive it, not even put it in gear, just stick the key in and crank it up.

IT IS Illegal. PERIOD.

No one without a valid driver's license may be in "CONTROL" of a motor vehicle.
