| Does Missouri recognize common law marriages & what are the requirements to be considered to be common law marriages? What are the rights to a house if only one partner has the name on it? |

Missouri is not a Common Law marriage State. It is, however, a "Separate Property" State. As for the house, you didn't say when it was purchased - - before or during the marriage. IAAL |

| My response: Thanks for the correction. You're right, there wasn't a marriage. So, she's definately out of luck. IAAL |
