To Modify Child Support

What is the name of your state? Minnesota

Hi!! My question is a couple part one. I was recently laid off from my job and was wondering if I could file to have to my ex pay part of the childrens medical coverage. I am court ordered to cover them and was remarried in Febrruary and my new husband carries the kids on his insurance and my ex paid half there medical coverage when they were with my employer. But because when we switched it cost less they told me I could not request a new order to make him pay the lesser amount because it was not a big enough difference. Plus my income was more than my ex they told me not to take him back to court because I would end up paying him child support. We have the Valento Law ruling thanks to the ex. He verbally agreed to pay his portion but has not paid a dime since March when they quit taking it out of his check. He claims to the county that he makes 6.00/hr and only works 20 hours a week and i know he is lying but they will not listen to me. What can I do?

My other part is I have a ten year old son that does not want to go to his Dad's anymore and we have joint legal custody and was told unless I could prove Neglect or Abuse there was nothing I could do. My son and his Dad have been through multiple counseling sessions and nothing ever changes. What do you do? The newest thing is that he told the kids he is not taking them to church on his weekends anymore. Any suggestions would be great. I am at my wits end. The big twist is that my ex and his girlfriend are expecting there second baby in April and they will have six children all under 10 on the same weekend and my son hates that.

Help!! A mother in Distress.
