I'm sorry

I should have also asked you, is there a court order in place for the custody you share?

If so, it would be beneficial to file a petition to modify the order if it would be in the best interest of the child(ren) to do so.

If there is no court order regarding custody, file a petition for custody as soon as possible. Be aware though, that you must be able to provide the child with not only provisions of an appropriate home environment, but your availability to the child (i.e. home to get them ready for school, evenings at home with them, ability to stay home from work when situations with children warrant, basically an open schedule for the child's benefit.) The courts weigh these things heavily, in PA.
