My name is Robin and I currently live in Minnesota. I share joint physical and legal custody of my children with my ex-husband. The children are with him one week and them with me one week. I would like to move 30 miles away, the problem is that I would be moving into Wisconsin. I was told I must seek permission from the court before I move since I share custody of the children. My ex will not agree to my moving with out me going to court. Can I do this whith out help of an attorney? I would be willing to bring the children to the school they currently attend on the weeks I have them. I will be moving in with my boyfriend? Does this have any bearing on the issue?
