Multiple State Marriages

I got married in Las Vegas, NV. and did not tell my family. I am now getting married in Texas (To the same man) but do not wish for my family to find out I was married previous to our wedding date in NV. Can a person obtain a marriage license from 2 different states NV and Texas if they are marring the same person?

Yes, however if it is a church ceremony, you can have a reaffermation normally the signing of the license is done in private after the ceremony, let the minister know ahead of time and it should be fine. You will save the cost of the second license.
