my son

What is the name of your state? niagara falls n. y. My son john is 17 and has left home because i wont let him do what he wants,which is nothing. is there anything i can do so i wont be held responsable for him.without his consent.

Im looking for the same info for my best friend. Her son is 17 and comes and goes at will. Will she be responsible for his wrong doings? We can only guess drugs and stealling are involved. By the time she takes legal action he'll be 18, should she spend the money in legal fees or spend the next year in fear of being held responsible. Good luck to you -----Delaware
