Name changeWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? New Jersey When my husband and I were first married, he wasn't yet a US citizen. When he got his citizenship, they changed the spelling of his last name. Now we have two different last names. It's only a matter of one letter difference. In order to avoid confusion for things such as health insurance I want to change the spelling of my last name to match his. Do I need to legally change my name to do so? |
