What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? GA

I was born in La. but I reside in GA. My birth certificate has my first and middle name mispelled. All of my other legal documents have the correct spelling.

Can I petition the courts in GA to correct my spelling issue or do I have to return to LA to get this corrected?

You have to get this correct by Louisiana.
