dying step-father has signed his house to a former step-daughter.my mother helped buy this house(deceased)and they were married 24 yrs. before her death.he has life-time rights and on his death the house belongs to her.how long does he have to live for this to be valid?

At it's heart, your question is not a Family law question; it's a combination question that involves both Estate Planning and Real Estate.
