- who's name is the truck registered under? who's name is on the title of the truck or does the truck have a lien holder?

You see this is NOT a hard problem......

If they bought the truck together and paid for it out of a JOINT checking account, then they both own the truck.

The problem comes in when only one persons name is on the check that paid the deposit or the monthly payments.

Question

Need your help SOMEBODY!!!!

Sonofamoo... my state is New Jersey and you had stated in your reply on the thread about the gf/bf that bought a truck together that the problem is if there is only one name on the receipts, title, etc. How would that play out? My ex-fiancee's name is on the purchasing paperwork and the registration, but I pay the note, put up the down payment, and pay the insurance.. all of the money transactions are in my name. How difficult will it be to get my car officially? Anything you can tell me would be GREATLY appreciated!
