Question

need help

The state that this is taking effect is in Alaska, I am speaking on behalf of my sister in law.
A few months ago my sister in law decided to leave her boyfriend of 5 years. They had 2 children together. The father is a Native to Alaska and has taken the matters of parental rights to the Tribal Courts. Both of the child are part native part caucasian. But under "Tribal Law" we are being led to believe that the children are protected by the natives. My sister in law is not trying to seek full custoday, she just wants to be able to see her kids. She has done everything that the Tribal Courts have asked her and yet they still shut her down and tell her she cannot see her kids. Any help or advice would be appreciated...I am at a loss for information on this matter and get shot down immediately when asking the Tribal Courts any answers!! SOMETHING is wrong here when she cant even have a lawyer represent her!!!! Thanks for your time
