I have been with my fiancé for 5 years, living together for 4 and engaged for 2. About 2 years back he asked me to take out monies from my condo to help pay for debts he incurred as well as upgrade his home. I refinanced and took out $50k.
Recently we have been arguing a lot, and when we do he tells me that I need to move out of "his house". When I ask him about the $50k he owes me, his response is that he can't afford that right now and that he will pay me eventually.
We have never registered a Domestic Partnership, but have been on a joint medical plan as domestic partners for the last 4 years.
